liquid beauty confirmed

All those years of hearing about and seeing dramas on "liquid beauty". I never thought that I would be a first hand witness....

I mean in theory it sounds real, but I always thought it was a "cute" metaphor/story, which woman (or man ) would really want to do that. However, sometimes things happen that we don't want to. Nothing like radiation therapy, puking and diarhea to release liquid beauty. It is not the conscious ingestion of laxatives and purgatives, but the effect, though, is somehow the same...

Hare Krishna,
I met your wife about 6 years ago when we visited NV. I was 10 weeks pregnant at the time and when she found out, she took me to a storage closet in the temple and sent me home with SOOOO many cloth diapers and more. I used them for that child, my nephew is now using them, and our third child, due in Feb. will be using them as well. I hung out with her while we were there and I found her to be a welcome change in a world of devotees who seem to be so painfully PC and cover up who they are to be "devotional", but Gopi was straight and real. I loved her accent and her sense of humor. My boy, Tilak, played with Gopal and Mohan while we were there and they had a great time. Every time I'm in NV I ask about her. I live in NC and know DevaDeva from there. I just read a post about Gopi on there and then came and read your blog in it's entirety. My heart feels so sad for your suffering. As a mother and wife myself, I can't imagine being in this situation. I just wanted her to know I really liked her, I've never forgotten her, and she is in my prayers. I hope Krishna makes it easy on her, whatever the outcome may be. You will be in prayers too, Prabhu. I can't imagine what you must be going through. Times like these make me really glad I know about Krishna, imagine the terror if we didn't. Best wishes, Gopal Nandini dasi
